Representative Team Selections

Congratulations to the following three players for being selected to play for the Under 9 Rep Team.

Kieron Massingham, Tremayne Barrett and Leyton Brandon.

A maximum of only three players can be selected from one club, we could have supplied the Rep team many more players if not for this rule.

Abingdon Youth

1st Game Won 0-4

Team:Kieron Massingham,Tate Rogers,Tremayne Barrett,Lester Davies,Ross McMahon,Joesph Hastings,Leyton Brandon.

The lads started very well and played attractive passing football with the right mix of effort and skill. The lads raced into a four nil lead by half time with goals scored by four different goalscorers, always good to see goals coming from all departments of Defense,Midfield and Forwards all scoring, Goals from Tremayne Barrett, Lester Davies, Joesph Hastings and Leyton Brandon, Many more chances were created in both halves and they should have been taken but as I always keep telling the team we must hit the target! and make the goalie work.

2nd Game Won 1-3

Team:Jordan Lawson,Millie Hankinson,Thomas Van Gucci,Cameron Innes,Malcolm Blinder,Cameron Gray,Robbie Morton
Sub Ben Smith unused

This Game was very evenly matched until the deadlock was broken from a Cameron Innes corner which made it's way into the goal after the goalie missed judged the flight of the ball,Malcolm Blinder added a fine taken brace of goals before Abingdon replied, the team played with great effort and direction and also played some neat football and strung some great passing moves together.

Overall win for two team league 1-7
